should i get it ( ive got bg2, bg1 and tdd)
also what is it like? ( ie what classes/ spells do you get compared to bg1 and bg2?) |

Yes, GET IT! It's much more lineal that BG, a good old fashioned hack 'n' slash without being morose. Quite frankly I liked it a great deal more than BG1 and am more than a little upset that it wasn't a larger game! (Hint, hint, developers for a sequel/IWD 2! [img]smile.gif[/img] )
Classes are the same as BG1.....Heart of Winter adds new cleric and mage spells (the clerics make out much better, IMO) which has the cleric now able to inflict damage! rather than basically just heal. If I've not covered any important points, I know some of the other guys will fill in for me! [img]smile.gif[/img]

If I had it to do again, I'd get them both together and intall at the same time. As it was, I had to wait til I was done with IWD (and then had to order HoW since it's snatched up as soon as it hits the store here).
