OOps! On my way hacking and slashing through the Severed Hand Tower, I chopped up Larrel's advisors. Now Larrel would like to kill me, eventhough I now have all four pieces of the astrolabe. What should I do - kill him off? There's no talking to him now! If I simply walk away (giving up experience points, I'm sure)can I still access Chapter 4?
Any ideas? Thanks much! |

Good luck! I got all four pieces by checking the walkthrough from Ironworks. The maps showed me where the pieces are hidden on the various levels. Anyway, when you go up through Sheverdash (sp?) tower - that's the tower on the far right of that level - you'll go across the bridge and into another tower level. Go up through the library into Larrel's laboratory. Talk to the sorcer with him, just DON"T KILL HIM like I did! I still don't know what to do... I hope I don't have to restart the game at the beginning!
The maps and walkthrough are great and very helpful. I wish I had read it more closely for this chapter! I hope this helps! |

I would suggest exporting all of your characters, loading a savegame from before you killed him and importing your characters into that savegame, that way you won't lose any XP or nice magical items you've found and you'll even get a chance to get some of the items twice....
