How do you bash open a door?

I am trying a solo advance thru the adventure, but my fighter cannot open a locked door. The manual says nothing about how to bash open a door, and he's got a 25% chance because of his strength, but it doesn't happen... What am I not doing?

Simple, just attack it! Click the weapon icon, it will turn red, and then hit the door. That's all there is to it It works with chests as well.

If you have only a 25% chance of knocking that door down, you're in big trouble. All my fighter characters have 18/91+ strength and 18s in other slots, and 80% chances of bashing. Spend some more time rolling your character.

Thanks, Wrath! I forgot to make sure it stayed red when I got to the door. Playing on my laptop is a pain, since I do not have a mouse hooked up - it "intuitively" likes to click on everything...anyways, works fine, lasts a long time.

No problem And don't worry about your Strength, they make sure if you need to open a door, you'll be able to. And if all else fails a strength potion does the trick
