Hi, I'm Chimpy. I just finished the game (woohoo!) and I started a new one with my characters from the previous game. Well so far I've played that game five hours(in Icewind time) and now I'm up to Rothgar, the guy from Kuldahar. I go into his house so that we could all go on the expidition and I can be on my way to chapter 1, but when I talk to him a bug occurs. I tell him that "yes I will join your expidition" and "let us be on our way". Right after the dialogue ends the game is supposed to go into a movie or story text but instead it either freezes or the game will close itself and this damn message appears :
An Assertion failed in Infinity.cpp Programmer says: Demand for WED file failed. Does anyone know what the hell that means? Can someone please help me? Thanks |

The same thing happened to me after a while in Tales of the Sword Coast. I couldn't load any saved games so i had to start again from scratch. Try contacting someone at interplay. Cheers
