Ok, I solved the puzzle, i.e. stepped on the right blocks in the right order. "I hear a loud clanking noise, and a big clammour form the round table room".....I go out to the room, nothing. I come back...Nothing. Where are the stairs???? I thought the middle of the puzzle room turned into stairs? But they are not there? HELP????!!!!!

If you go back to the room with the big table in it, you will notice a statue off to the right of the door that has its arm down. Pull on that and that will reveal the stairs. Hope this helps.

Thnks, I had saved the game with the "Q" save, while I was solving it. I thought I had caused a glitch.
