the picture of jaheria and basically the rest of my party in the inventory screen are really bad. jaheria looks like some malnutritioned freak. It is worse than Baldurs Gate 1 paper doll pics, which i thought looked pretty good. Is it the same for you? Can i change it by making increasing my graphics somehow?

In BG2 all elf and half-elf dolls look anemic and wimpy. They were obviously drawn by a dwarf, I think.
There are no mods that address this, to my knowledge. You are free to peruse them if you wish, however. Try a search for 'pocket plane group' and 'sorcerors net'.
good luck!

Isn't there a mod which reverts the paperdolls back to their BG1 versions? It's called something like 1 Pixel Productions?

If you have the cheat keys enabled I believe Ctrl+6 and Ctrl+7 will cycle you through the avatars for the selected character. You can then pick the one you want.

I often change my Swashbuckler to a pirate avatar. It doesn't have quite have the range or movement but it does look appropriate

I'm not sure how you fix the inventory screen character though.

Lookie lookie:

This little mod will revert the paper dolls of BG2 back to BG1 versions. So your elves will actually be pretty, and your humans won't look 20 pounds overweight (honestly, my female Kensai/Thief looked like a lethargic chipmunk. Not too bloody likely for a warrior in that sort of a society.)
