If you are a specialist mage in BG1, and you import your PC, can you pick Wild Mage? I presume you would lose specialist mage in doing this,,just wondering.

I'm pretty sure that you can (re)pick a kit when you start SoA. What I'm not sure about is whether the Wild Mage is, in fact, a mage kit.

It's under the Mage specialist kit list thing in Baldurs Gate II, so I think it would be a specialist. It also gets the +1 spell per the rules of a specialist, so I'm thinking it is.
