Would I be correct in assuming tht Aerie would be the best character to cast these two spells? I understand Wisdom has a great effect on the outcome of these spells.

WIS does affect both spells. Nothing a Potion of Insight won't solve though.

Also keep in mind that the character who casts the spell doesn't have to be the one to talk to the Genie. You can, for example, have Edwin cast the spell, then (right after you get the Genie-is-appearing animation) Force Talk the Genie with Viconia & he'll give you choices based off of her Wisdom, not Edwin's.

The Wish genie doesn't have a green circle, so you can't force another party member to speak with it.

In the SoA manual it says that a chunkified character cannot be ressurrected but however can be brought back by a LIMITED WISH spell
(IF any1 has the manual could they please double check?) I just want to clarify this....Bacos I am pretty sure that I read this.

unfortunatly you cannot "WISH" a chunked character to life, dispite the fact that the manual tells you that that is possible..

So it is safe to ASSUME it is a misprint?
Obviously?? Or it just hasn't been ERRATUM for it? Or u personally yourself have yet to work out how? Are you 100% sure? Its just that NALIA has been chunkified + I can't b bothered RELOADING unless there is much to go after the BATTLE of ABAZIGAL? due to the final speech 'bug'? How much of the game IS there left to go? NALIA is too powerful to give up on. And who is a good mage I can recall back up in her place? (I already have JAN) If I get EDWIN becos he is evil my REPUTATION is HEROIC 20 will he leave? THANKS

well i think everyone will agree that you can't wish a chunked character to life. originally, or rather in PnP (never done that but i've been told) the WISH spell can do basically anything you want (if you have the right amount of Wisdom). This ofcourse can't be impemented in the game.
when a character is chunked that character is out of the game completly. i dont know why the manual states that they can be brought back by a wish, but i know that many other things (atleast in bg1) in the manual isen't implemented in the game, for exmple the "survive ressurection" numbers (again, atleast in bg1). even though the manual states that when you have a low constitution(i think) there is a risk that you won't survive a resurection, but everyone ALWAYS does in reality. personally i would reload if i lost nalia in the battle against ABAZIGAL. since that ought to be your higest level mage, and that can't be replaced with one from the pocket plane...
