LMAO with Minsc

No not his usual banter but i was in a fight the other night and all of a sudden Minsc had turned into a small creature. Now before anyone says this, no, he wasn't using the cloack of the sewers and to my knowledge wasn't hit by a polymorph other spell. Besides the last one should have deminished his hp, shouldn't it ? And when i looked at his char page everything was like it should be. I know it was him because he had his voice and when i hovered the cursor over him, his name appeared. Anyway, i set him to attack and you can probably guess what followed, his war cry 'Go for the eyes boo, go for the eyes'. I'm sure everybody at home thought i was going crazy.

Another thing, it seems i have just lost Aerie's special ability button. It's just greyed out for some reason. It should be accesable because she has some sequencer stored. Resting doesn't help. Not a big deal but still....

What does that have to do with anything ? I know Nishruus eat magic but when i tried to reset the sequencer (i'm assuming you're talking about this) i get the 'You can not have two of the same, bla, bla, bla'. So i should be able to access here sequencer.

HMMM well it is pretty weird. What is the message exactly...srry if thats to much but there might be a reason the ability thing happened..but the minsc thing is funny!! Mabye it is a bug??

Since you seem to have a bug with the spell trigger, it seems reasonable for you to use control+r on Aerie so that she can cast her spell sequencer again.

What creature did Minsc turn into? Are you possibly playing a Wild Mage, and a wild surge polymorphed Minsc?

You sure you didn't press Control? I think taht CTRL and 5 or 6 will change the appearance of the character.

No, i'm not playing a wild mage and i wasn't in a wild magic room either. Unless, i was fighting Sendai at the time so maybe one of her incarnations is a wild mage but i haven't had any wild surges happen in the fight with her in previous games and i did play a lot.

Didn't know that about control. I don't have the cheats enabled so i'm not sure if this a cheat or not but that could have happened that in the fracas of hitting keys and setting attacks that i accidentaly hit control allthough wouldn't that keep him in that form ? I say this because after the fight Minsc turned back into his normal form.

Now that you say this, it makes me think that maybe Minsc was standing right behind this creature you're talking about. So when you held your mouse over what you thought was the creature, you were actually holding your mouse over Minsc, you just couldn't tell since they were

A. Very close to each other.
or
B. Someone casted a spell so that you couldn't see very well to distinguish where Minsc was.

Then you kiilled the creature and you could see Minsc now that it was dead.

Not likely because

a. I could control the creature and
b. It had Minsc's voice set whenever i clicked on it.
