Humm, Ok I manage to kill the beast but thats right after he casted some insanely damaging spell that kills at least 4 partymembers which turn to dust or something. (They dont appear on icon menu anymore)
What spells do the beast cast? Probably firbreath...but I didnt thought my party members would turn into dust out of that. I did cast Fire resistance on aerie and fireshield but still she takes 160 damage when he unleash his all-party-die-lotsa-beef-spell

Hmm, never mind I figured it out, the beast had speel deflection... Aerie cast Improved Alacrity + Time Stop + All offensive spells that was left in her book, When The time stop was over, more then half of flew back to Aerie...

LOL!
![]() Once you have Time Stop + Improved Alacrity, however, Dragon should pose no threat at all. Just use AoE spells, which will bypass his Spell Turning. Since Saladrex has no Magical Damage resistance whatsoever, Skull Traps are ideal here. Just cast Time Stop, follow with Improved Alacrity, release a Spell Trigger with x2 Lower Resistance and 1 Greater Malison. Continue by casting as much Skull Traps as you can. Two important things to note: First, release the Spell Trigger when you're close to the Dragon, then take a few steps back and go on a Skull Traps frenzy. This is to ensure that the Trigger's spells will take effect before the Skull Traps. Second, be sure to take another step back just before time flows again, unless you wanna share Saladrex's pain, too. ![]() |

Yep he posed no threat, he fell pretty quickly, Abi Dalzim did a good job here since he got no Magick Resistance

Ah yes, Wilting... Use it, love it.
![]() Just a slight nitpick... Saladrex does have Magic Resistance - 65%, to be precise. However, he does not have Magical Damage resistance. ![]() |

I meant magical damage of course...
Btw, if you cast a spell with magical damage on a monster. Will Magic resistance first try to stop the spell, and then the resistance to Magic Damage will try to reduce the damage done by that spell?

Yes.
However, Magical Damage resistance will not try to reduce the damage. If it's there, it will reduce it. Pure Magic Resistance is the only type of resistance that is percentage-dependent. |
