i was wondering if you play through the whole game with expansion do you still get the extra chapters?

the game adds addition adventures AFTER you finish SoA, other than the increased xp cap, watchers keep being available, along with it's nice goodies, and some new spells there is little difference in teh way SoA plays without ToB (except of course the cloak of cheese, I mean mirroring- the one that reflects all combat spells back at the caster)

I noticed that TOB seemed to change the attributes of the cloak of mirroring - making it less deadly and adding that horrible graphics effect. I took the advice of others and deleted the item from my override folder setting it back to SOA attributes

I downloaded a patch for the cloak, I just couldnt stand that ball that the cloak put around the body.

Hmmm, I'm happy with the modified cloaks decreased abilities .. but i want that bulb GONE

Is there a patch for it ?

Thanks for the welcome. I think the patch for the cloak of mirroring only deletes the "fuzzy ball" effect. What I noticed is that it didn't reverse the game designer's intent to make the cloak less powerful. That's why I looked up the item's code in Shadowkeeper so I could delete it from the override folder. I liked the silvery circle effect at their feet and I didn't want to give up the ability to redirect spells like petrification back at the beholders and gauths.

u don't download a patch there's a file name in your over ride folder you edit. Am waiting for Dundee to post, he is Da Bomb [img]tongue.gif[/img]
