There are too many to name, but you can always make them up yourself, or one of the numerous name generators.

Pull out Return of the King or Silmarillion and flip through the index.

Tolkien is the Daddy of elven names...........
However, the Warhammer Orc names from the name generator (linked above) are a lot funnier - Gretchinraper or Elfdragger anyone???

Well, here is a litlle lesson in Quenya:
take an elvish word (in this case Saur which means dispicable) and add the ending -on, then you will have Sauron, which means the great dispicable. -on makes The Great. Take the elvish word for shoting, quinga, and add the ending -de, we get quingende; he/she who shots. -de makes the one who is. other endings: -dil the one who loves -dur the one who serves -ion son of -ien daughter of |

quote: I see I'm not the only one who's learning/learned Quenya I realized, the Elven Tolkien-style names generated by that name-generator... some of them aren't even possible in Quenya. For instance the consonants b- or d- at the beginning of a word... or maybe, of course, the names are Sindarin - what are the rules there? |
