cannot get to Ulgoth's Beard

Thank you to all who assisted in helping me find my Final Save game in BG (ie BG1 did not save final battle question). Also, thanks to Morgeruat for responding to my last post re: accessing Ulgoth's Beard from the Undercity. I have gotten into the Final Save game and retraced my steps out of the Undercity to make my own way to Ulgoth's Beard but when I try to get to it it does not highlight on the map and will not let me in - from any of the previously accessed areas on the map.

Do I just have a dud copy of the game (3 disc installation with both BG and ToSC) ot is this me?? Its driving me crazy, I really want to get on it with it and play but I just cannot seem to be able to access ToSC areas.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I just started TOTSC and the are lighted up and became accesible when I was at the "bridge" at the entrance to BG. Good luck.

I think Lavi was being a little tongue in cheek--Sure, a lot of people are wondering where to go to open up Ulgoth's Beard, because it's kinda tricky to figure out.....but if you think THAT was tricky, just wait till you try to figure out Durlag's Tower! [img]smile.gif[/img]
