demogorgon, anyone else find him wicked easy?

I dont know what anyone else thinks, but i found the demogorgon to be eay as hell, i waltzed in and tore him a new one in about 30 seconds. With my normal protections and spells, haste, chant, defensive harmony, hardiness, protection from fear, and my fighters used their greater whirlwinds. Anyone else find him easy?? Also, what would have happened if id gone up and brought down the leader of the Helmites??

i agree

with my solo assasin getting to him was 10x harder than killing him

when i finally got to him i set down my max number of traps (all spike traps) turned em loose and he died in one turn

i went back and killed him in a not so cheesy way later but still wasnt all *that* bad, just used spectral brand and my simicurlum casting helm to distract him

I read so much about everyone trying to kill him and how hard he was when i got there i just set spike traps and down he went

I think next time im gonna try it the old fashioned way

p.s is it true he is immune to timestop?

He certainly was a lot easier than you'd expect from all those stories. I think that was because he was originally way too hard and they reduced his power a bit. Just too much.

Yeah from everything i had heard about him, i thought i had a long battle ahead, and many re loadings, but he was very easy, never expected that.

Demogorgon was patheticly easy...i tried to kill him 4 or 5 times using spells and summons and demons. when that didnt work i said f*ck it and went all out melee...he went down pretty fast without damaging any party members heheh. And ya he is immune to time stop [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Just get a good mage and cast finger of death on him, now that works (on all demons btw)

Might want to consider lowering his Magic Resistance first.

Regular Demogorgan is 'easy', for more kicks, you should try the Improved Demogorgan patch, and without using Spiketraps by the way.

Have you considered downloading david Gaiders improved Demogorgon MOD
I've recently downloaded them but I'm not that far yet. He is supposed to be at his full original difficulty (Extremely Hard) but you will never know unless you try.

i could just never get past the disease. every time i went up to him i'd take about 15-30 seconds to kill him then about three seconds after he dies i'd die of disease. very annoying.
