Voltine and shape changing

One house in Baldur's gate has twins, a guy and a woman.

The twins talk about someone outside the windows. But I can only find one twin??
The guy talks about Voltine being a shapechanginig druid frightening his kids.
Voltine talks about the guy being a problem too, but can't remember his name.

Basically each of the adults wants the other dead.
But they are both in the same room with blue circles.
Talking to them doesn't turn any of them red.

The log talks about something strange going on - too right! I haven't got a clue what's happening?

Any explanations?

I believe - but don't quote me on this, it's a long time since I've played BG1 - that both of those adults were guilty of frightening the children. At least I distinctly remember killing them both in every run through the game, although the exact reason I had for this escapes me at the moment.

As for that other twin, don't know where he/she could have gone. Try checking all the little angles of the house, sometimes they're behind a door and the 'fog of war' will then only reveal them if you stand in the exact correct spot.

The other twin is in the house....one does nothing, the other, explains about seeing the bogey monster outside her window.

The man says that you should kill Voltine, the shape changing druid.

Voltine, says you should kill the man, hes lying.

You just have to attack whichever one you want:

GAINS:

The Mage gets you much more exp
The Mage gets you better rewards from the fight.

Its a nothing quest really, just pick one and kill them. I do not know which is right to kill....but for your information, in my game i killed the druid, on the basis she shapechanges into the bogeymonster to scare the kids (although the Mage could polymorph oneself)

Also, if you cast Detect Evil, one of them is Evil. Although, if you wanted to, you can kill both without losing any Rep.

So, if HE doesn't belong there and SHE doesn't belong there, and YOU broke into the house.....where the heck are these girls' parents?
