viconia romance

Ok I have a question, I know all the romance talks in ToB are plot driven, so when exactly does Viconia ask if you want her to change. Ive said all the right things to her but I think I messed something up cause I beat the game and her alignment was still Neutral Evil. Thanks

I believe it is after the battle with the fire giant. After coming back from the pocket plane Viconia talks about how glorious the destruction of Saradush is and all beacuse of you.

You are the supposed to explain to her that it is horrible and its worse because you are the cause of it. Sometimes later she will ask again if you would like her to change. Then just choose the "Good" option if you like

Do the romances only work if you had romances in SoA? Do they only carry over? Can you start one otherwise? Nothing started for me.

I didn't have my saved games to move across

I'm afraid you can only have a romance by continuing the one you started in SOA. If you start a fresh TOB game or if you didn't have a romance in SOA, you won't be able to get one in Throne of Bhaal... Sorry Hugh! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yep, unless you hack the "Saved Game" file. I went back and did SoA again, just for that.I can't hack that well. My stepson can, but as a fee, he doesn't want to clean his room. LOL. Not really.

LOL, Galadria!

I know you can use Shadowkeeper to set the Global Variables to favourable values, but if I am not mistaken you can only do this while still in SOA, right? So it wouldn't be any good if you're well into Throne Of Bhaal. I'm asking because this is exactly the problem I'm asking about in my Jaheira Romance Global Variables thread...

Yeah, Melusine, I couldn't do it, so I went back and started SOA again, then I could. I came to the conclusion that, as a Paladin, it was my duty to rescue poor li'l Viconia, and convert her to Good. Roleplaying forever!P.S. my stepson thinks I'm nuts,but he's only level 11, and my Mage is 26, so I tell him that gives me authority over him.LOL
