Has anyone else downloaded David Gaider's improved bosses and played them? Demogorgon still went down like a sack of wheat, but Abazigal was one of the toughest fights I've been in. Spolier alert...
. . . . . . . . . . . You have to fight 4 drakes, a purple dragon, and Abazigal all at the same time! Abazigal was improved, as well. All I can say is thank god for Maze. I killed the Drakes and Mazed the Purple Dragon, then killed Abazigal (twice), healed up, un-imprisoned Jaheira, and unmazed Sarevok just in time for the Purple guy to return. Whew... |

What is the difficulty level of the drake ?
Like a Greater Wyvern ala the mage spell ? IMPRISONMENT ??? Who the hell casts that ? ------------------ Death comes for you, FEEL IT'S ICY TOUCH |

The drakes in and of themselves weren't all that threatening, although every once in awhile they'd get a good one in. They were tougher than the Wyvern Summoning creatures, though. They also seem to be damage and magic resistant, which makes them pretty hard to kill. The bad part was having 4 of the things along with the 2 dragons. As I remember, the Purple Dragon is the one that cast Imprisonment, but I may be wrong as things were happening quite quickly at that point.
