I like Imoen, but I think Jan is more fun and more original. He is the only gnome in the game.

I like Imoen myself. But, if I want a thief, I take Jan.

If Imoen wasn't necessary for the plot, I'd say dump her and go with Jan. Nalia is the better mage, but her attitude sucks. You can get everything you want from Jan that the others give you. Plus, his thief skills come in real handy...

I don't care that Jan's a thief, i'd take Imoen anyway. His stats are just not all that great. And it takes forever for him to level up. Forget Nalia I hate her female Robin Hood attitude. You can boost up Jan's strength, (Just import one of your girdles of giant strength.)but still...

My vote goes for Imoen. She has a pleasant personality with nice sense of humor and her thief' skills are enough for me. Also, she isn't a bad mage (of course, if you want a real wizard it would be Edwin).
Jan can be funny sometimes but I do not like him anyway. May be it is only my delusion but seems it takes far longer to detect a single trap for him than for Imoen or late Yoshimo... ------------------ Tanda, with best regards from Guild of Assassins |

Actually, it isn't necessary to have Imoen in the party at all. Ata ny point when she is needed, she just turns up
