my theory has been proven!

well, some of you may remember my theory of the Fighter/Mage possibly being the most powerful class in the game. well, i have proven that they are one of the best! when you get about 3M exp in each class (able to cast lvl 9 spells), learn Improved Alcarity. this may sound foolish, but its gonna pay off later, believe me. make sure you have Greater Whirlwind and Critical Strike. get the enemy distracted (or just cast mirror image/stoneskins before battle). in a pitched battle, cast Improved Alcarity (or if you wish Time Stop before this, but it wont always work), then follow with Greater Whirlwind and Critical Strike. you can get 9-10 Critical Hits, depending on how far you had to go or how long it took you to order the casting of Critical Strike. i didnt use these exact abilities, but i did have 4 special abilities on at the same time, all with one round durations, so it should work. anyways, im gonna use this as one of my main tactics when i dual through SoA w/ Aerie.

Hey Seph,

Congrats on working that out! Arguably, the Fighter/mage is probably the most powerful character with a deadly combo like that.

But you can also gain tremendous damage from some other easier methods -
Archer: Called Shot plus Greater Whirlwind. I used this before myself, and it absolutely wrecks the victim.
Assassin: Use Timestop trap, Poison plus Assassinate. It does fantastic damage.
