Can you back stab with the Crom Faeyr by Fighter/Thief? |

Blunt weapons won't backstab... only shortswords, longswords and daggers I believe.
But don't get so excited... at some point in the game all creatures can see hidden/invisible for no particular reason. Makes backstabs obsolete. |

Another backstabbing question.....what is included in the multiplier? Are any bonuses from strength included or is it just the weapon damage X multiplier + STR modifier? Reason I am asking is b/c I was backstabbed in my game last night and it said quintuple damage--46 damage. I am trying to figure out how they got 46 from 5X's damage????

Original and 2nd ed multiplies base damage only, I think, then adds strength and magical adjustments. There may be a few exceptions.
