important question...NPC romances

hey...i'm playing throne of bhaal right now w/ an elven fighter-mage, but i'm interested in propagating the romance w/ viconia. i'd like to do this before i get farther in the game, so i don't miss stuff in the storyline that has to do with the viconia romance. does anybody have a link to the URL where i can download the "races" patch for the game that will solve the problem of the racial limitation on the romance with viconia??

I'm not sure where the patch is, but you may want to think twice about that, before installing it. None of the 3rd party patches were designed to support ToB and some of them have been causing problems. If you install a "patch" overtop of ToB, you might end up having to do a wipe and clean install of both SoA and ToB if there is a problem...

Just wanted to make sure that you knew that...

thanks for the suggestion. i think i'll avoid doing that all together. another question: do you or does anyone else know if, using the newest version of Shadow Keeper, if the paramater VICONIAACTIVE = 2 means that the romance is "switched on", so to speak? i tried that, but nothing has really happened yet. if anyone knows, help me out.

I had the romances patch on going into TOB which lets you have all three female romances at the same time (hey! hey!)...
Jahiera was the primary one and that one continued, but I have an elf character too and Viconia's stopped with TOB.

I think when TOB imports the saved game it might decide which, if any, you have active and then continue them on... I have gotten the impression from the romance dialogue in TOB you can no longer fudge them up so they're over. So my assumption is your romance is either on or off coming into TOB.
