Hi, Has been awhile since I have played BG2...

And I have i question:

Can I store some thing(like the Powwel Jem) in a Chest or a box at ex Waukeen's Promenade or will it disappear?

Yes, you can safely store it there. After chapter 6, I think some places are refreshed, and I'm not sure if this includes WP. If the place refreshes, the items disappear. You should just store the items in your stronghold.

You should not store items in strongholds because those are the ones that get changed. You could lose your items if you place them in a container before you acquire the stronghold (area changes after you acquire it). After you acquire the stronghold you're safe to store there anything you want.

Any item in a container in Waukeen promenade is safe. That's where i stored mine. so is slums district, tested this too. In fact I'm fairly sure every outside area is okay and most of the inside ones. Only ones that I'm sure change are strongholds (as mentioned above) and bodhi's lair tombs (change in chapter 6).

Yeah, pre-empting strongholds is generally a bad idea. The only one that I know doesn't change is the cleric stronghold. I don't know if the paladin one changes (I don't see why it should), and the druid stronghold is irrelevant as it contains no containers. Warrior and ranger definately changes, and I want to say mage changes, but I could be wrong. Jury's out on the bards.

Pretty sure the Bards changes. I recall losing a bardic instrument...

When I store things I generally use the table and/or crate in the copper coronet. The crate usually gets the one time use and now completely useless items like keys and fishy orbs.

I just fine it a conveniently located place, the story line is regularly sending the party back to the Coronet and its easy to et to and has the benefit of having a couple merchants and a room to rest in.
