Increasing spell casting speed

I have a character called Cheato the Cheater. I started with a sorcerer, and then hacked his physical stats, attacks per round, weapon proficiencies, health and everything up until he became the kind of sorcerer that can melee adamantine golems solo at level 11 without buffing.

But anyway, after hacking away at stuff with the approximate speed of one slash per second, all that chanting and waiting between spells seems very inefficient.

Can I give him a permanent Improved Alacrity with Shadowkeeper, and how?

Just put on the Robes of Vecna.

Wear the tear that Irenicus has. I think it gives permanent improved alacrity (unless that is just a characteristic of the ToB Redemption mod?). Can anyone confirm if this information is correct?

Klorox: I already have the Robe of Vecna, but that only increases the casting speed itself. I want to eliminate the wait between spells. Improved Alacrity does that, but it's a ninth level spell with a short duration, and I want to have it as a constant effect.

I'll look for this tear, then.

Mod, probably. No Irenicus I checked had any kind of tear on him.

Try playing the actual game. Being a Terminator is only so much fun for so long.

Neo: I have played the actual game, and even now I have at least three normal characters I actively play with and twenty or so archived. Fooling around with the engine does get old eventually, but it's fun for a while.

Kyrvias: I don't know. Installing a mod just to get one item seems slightly overkilley. Could you just mail me the file?

I was just going off of what other people said. Either way, do you have a choice? Seems like the easiest...

Eitehr way, even if I *did* have the file, well, I'm not tech savvy...
