Trademeet sidequest issues

Okay, i've been here several times before, so i know exactly what to expect, that's why i know that after doing the stuff that needs doing there, a woman named Jenia approaches you and sends you on a mission which will lead to your second encounter with our all time favourite tanner.

Except for some reason, this time Jenia is nowhere around, and the quest can't be triggered. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar before ? Because i haven't, not even when playing unpatched, which is not the case this time 'round btw. So why is this happening ?

Usually, I find that I have to be away from trademeet for a little while before she'll come to me. Are you waiting for her right after finishing the druid quest, johnny?

Edit- hm, also there's the guy in Umar Hills, the merchant where you buy the book? I'm not sure if you have to go through him first, then over to Trademeet or not.

Normally the woman approaches me right after leaving the mayor's house i think, or when i'm standing at the big square with the hero statues, not sure anymore. The only thing i'm definitely sure of, is that i never had to leave Trademeet first, and then come back in order to trigger this quest. So this one goes in the book of unsolved mysteries in the wonderful world of computers until i am actually allowed to finish this little quest.

weird. Do you know if you went and talked to the merchant fellow in Umar first?

Problem solved, she was standing somewhere near the tent where the djinni's used to be in. I guess this might have been caused by the little cheat i used at the start of the game, which was giving boots of speed to all my partymembers. Once you've been through the game several times, you'll want to speed up things...at least i do.

I guess she just couldn't keep up the pace. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

Isn't this about the guy/woman who approaches you after you've accepted to do the mantle of waukeen sidequest. I remember there was a man or woman coming up to me near the crypt telling me he was afraid of something. When you go to the house he mentioned he'll lead you to the man in the south of trademeet.

Aeons- I've never had that happen to me before. Are you sure that's not a part of some mod?

Nope, that's exactly what's supposed to happen. Normally this is precisely how it goes for me, but i guess the boots of speed must have messed it up a bit.

If that's the case you first need to enter either noble house and accept their search of the crypts.

Weird. I can't recall anybody ever leading me to the fellow at the south of trademeet. I've always just wandered over there on my own.
