Tutu and BGT have totally separate purposes.

Tutu allows you to play BG1 in the BG2 engine, with as close to the original experience as possible (less resolution and kits, of course).

BGT is designed to allow you to play a game straight through with the same PC in both games, with no import/export. Therefore, there is an added transition, among other things.

In the days of yore, BGT was a 600MB download and buggy as hell. While most of those bugs have been resolved, your best bet is probably to go for the current Weidu of BGT (.99 Beta 4), which is under 10MB and is pretty stable, with a few random quirky bugs.

I would still recommend Tutu over BGT. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I hear the transition in BGT is not very good, unless they have changed it recently. BGT also (used to at least) have a very complex install procedure

Read above- as I said, the preferable version to install now is the Weidu one, which means that it's just as easy to deal with as Tutu.

Yes, but I would still recommend Tutu as it is more stable, has better mods designed for it and does not have a dodgy BG1-BG2 transition like I hear BGT has.
