Bodhi and joining her

I amassed 15k, talked to Valen, spent most of the cash, talked to bodhi, and she told me to come back later. I re-accumulated the needed money, and talked to her again, but(!) I had done some thieves guild quests, obtained the said guild and ran it for at least three weeks. Bodhi told me that I can't join her and if I meet her again it will be in battle.

I've never done bodhis side before and would like to. I don't really care about the guild. Will it be enough if I quit it? Do I need to change some variable to make Bodhi reappear?

I don't think Bohdi employs a player character if your a thief even if you don't accept the thieves guild. So quiting the guild and spawning Bodhi wouldn't work.

Maybe there is some variable you can change to allow her to employ thieves? Anyone?

Are you sure? Because I've done some of those quests on an other character whom I'm pretty sure was a thief. Maybe he was multiclassed or something but still a thief.

No.
bodhi will never accept any thief single class, multicalass, dual or whatever. no matter whether you have guild or not.
(unless there is perhaps a mod that changes that?)

I'm not sure about this. Single class thieves diffently can not. I seem to rememember SixofSpades saying multiclassed thieves or a dual class thief with their thief half un-active can be employed by Bodhi.

Maybe he knows, as he's normally right. Six, is this the case?

Unfortunately, I side with Bodhi so rarely that I'm vague on this one. I know for sure that she'll never accept a trueclass Thief....which really bites the game on the ass if you're trying to roleplay Evil. You want Korgan, Viconia and Edwin, which means you need a Thief, which means you have to be the Thief, which means that you can't work for Bodhi. Doh!

But I'm unsure as to the exact specifics of all the shades of near-Thieves. I'll run a Multiplayer game tonight and see what I come up with.

I thought she'd accept a multiclassed thief, providing you had accepted the stronghold of the other class.

Check ease of use, improved thieves mods (rogue rebalancing pack f.e), i know that there is such a mod and it is instaled on my pc, so i can join bodhi while being a thief. unfortunately cant remember what mod is that.

Perhaps I could temporarily change my class with shadowkeeper. How can I make her think that she hasn't talked to me?
