I'm Having trouble defeating Irenicus in the final battle...

Any tips on how to defeat Him....

Also is the SoA final boss "improved" or "normal"? (Improved with Tactics mod that is.)

What are they wearing/equipped with? Also, what level?

Leave some summons next to him before killing the last monster sucking the life out of the tree. He'll take care of those first.

Do you have Carsomyr? It's "Dispel Magic" is great on Irenicus, and then just charge the mofo.

Once you get to the second half and his slayer change, simply give in to the urge and join him in slayerage. Toe to toe, he will always lose.

Oh, and improved haste works wonders as always.

Make sure you rest before inserting the final tear into the door and he should be ripe for the killing. The usual time stop, improved alacracity combinations work very well, and I tend to find him less of a challenge here than the tree of life incarnation.

B)You're right, my mistake. I actually always found that fight easier, I don't know why.

My advice is still similar, get out some summons, and place them near where he'll show up. They don't get blown back when the door busts open. Remember to rest first, there's no penalty for resting in Hell.
