Ok, once again I searched as long as I could stand to see if this was answered, and if I missed anything I'm sorry.
I just found a link to a bgt download and it's sitting on my desktop presently. What I'd like to know is.. a)Will the bonus merchant disk work with bgt? and b)Are there other mods that are compatible with it, or is it designed to fly solo? Thanks in advance.

I don't know. I would like to try, but I'm on dial-up. However, most modders put compatibility info in the 'readme'. And some even make the readme available for viewing before the DL.

I would strongly recommend Tutu from http://www.pocketplane.net over BGT.

To give a few answers:
I wouldn't start BGT at this point. Main reason being that an open beta should be starting within the next month or so on BGT-Weidu, which will have most of the bugs of BGT removed (also, it'll be under 10MB). Tutu is interesting, Andyr, but IMHO it's for a different purpose than BGT. Tutu does quite well if you want to play BG1 in a BG2 engine. BGT is if you want to play straight through- certain things you do in the original will the have consequences later. Big Picture is constructed to work with BGT, though I'm sure there'll have to be some adjustment after BGT-weidu is released. |
