I have just entered the underdark, and I got into a fight with the (spoiler)
Mindless mage who you free from the sould collecting machine. I had him surrounded with my four best fighters, and had him beat. However, Keldorn chunked him at the exact moment that he fired a spell trigger of protection from missles, to interesting effect: I wound up with an untargetable chunk of hovering meat with protection from missles which kept on fighting! It would have been funnier if it didn't continually trigger the wounded contingency, bathing my party in fireballs  [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img] Has this happened to anyone? |

I've had that happen before, though usually only when fighting Cowled Wizards. One of them casts Simulacrum, and when it appears, the Simulacrum takes on whatever animation the original caster happens to be using--even the animation for a spinning chunk of meat. Good times!

I've only had that happen with the Cowlies, as well, but what works on the Random Untargettable Spinning Chunk is to have at least 1 character whose Script is set to Standard Attack & the Party AI turned on. Your character(s) will take care of the RUSC even though you can't click on it to attack. [img]smile.gif[/img]

When I did it, Keldorn continued attacking but couldn't damage the thing...

The only thing you can do is reload. You can't CTRL-Y a bouncing part of meat to my knowledge.

Oh, I'm well past it. It didn't occur after a reload, and Keldorn chunked him just as easily
