Question about Quest ------ POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Hello to all. I was playing last night and was approached (right after again taking Anomen into my party) regarding Anomen's "Knighthood" and his needing to go to High Hall. When looking in my journal it said I had two days to accomplish the quest. I made it time (after taking out the Cult of the Eyeless), but was wondering if there are other quests with time limits and if so, will they be mentioned in my journal? I am in Chapter 3 and the only other quest I can recall with any mention of when or how long was that I had to meet Mook at the docks at night. Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.

One other thing, I have yet to go to the graveyard for Aran Linvail, but gotta say I am not looking forward to dealing with the Vampires. I am sick to death of having someone level drained!!! LOL

Hey there Stonewarrior. You have done it right, heh.

There are a few quests that have a time limit and it WILL tell you in your journal if there is one. Most of the time limit quests take place in the Underdark in Chapter 5 so dont start worrying just yet.

I know, I hate being level drained too. There are ways to counter it though. Some items prevent level drain (IIRC the Amulet of Power is one, or is it Sensate?). Anywho, if you have spellcasters in your party, have them learn and cast protection from negative energy on your party members; that should stop them being level drained.

Some say hurry, but usually unless it involves a party member (sometimes) or has a specific time in your journal as mentioned above, its just hot air.

Thanks for the info. I was concerned about the final quest for Linvail as I keep getting approached about other quests. It is kind of annoying. LOL Reminds me of work!

Back to the level drains, when I went on the quest go get Garrin's child back both Yoshimo and Jaheira were level drained a few levels and I had no spells or scrolls to put them up (I had booted Anomen for Nalia to go due her stronghold quest). I finished okay and was pleasantly surprised when they both went up a couple of levels when I finished. Since then I have bought several scrolls to keep handy just in case!
