I keep forgetting and I can't find it in the manual, but which attribute aids in learning new spells: WIS or INT?

INT I use 18, it lets me memorize the most spells per level.

ive got a mage with int 18 and i havnt failed yet... that doesnt mean i wont though

The possibility of memorising a spell is lower on higher difficulites.

And you can always temporarily increase INT with a potion or two when you're learning a bunch of scrolls, although this is a bit cheesy IMO.
