Yeah i am restarting alot atm...I am planning on taking a mage cleric for my next solo. I know what gear to take, and what spells i need, so call me cheesy if you will, (certain cloak, staff, amulet, robe, etc)...But i have never used Aerie and don't know myself quite how strong they get, i've only heard stories. So, i intend to slap the game with some Leerdammer, yes, i hope it's a fun game [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's going to be VERY difficult to start with: Since your entire "party" can only cast one spell per round (well, two if your Familiar knows things like Horror), you essentially can't rely on spell power to win. And since your offensive combat skills are going to suck, you essentially can't rely on your muscle to win. You can't Stealth around to avoid fights or scope out enemies, etc.
Answer: Use lots of Summons, buff them like hell, and hope they win. Use all your best spells in every fight, and Rest immediately afterward.

I was expecting difficulty at the start, but once i got to higher levels, i am hoping things will become rather simple.

There are two spells you should always have memorized and cast on you: Stoneskin, and Minute Meteors. MM helps a LOT in the earlier battles.

Out of curiosity, am i right in thinking i want to put high damage spells in them, dragons breath, wail of the banshee, power word kill etc, and in another i want defensive spells? Just something i heard and wanted to make sure of.
