custom portraits??

I've found a custom portrait I like (compatible for BG2).
I want to install it, now I've read the portrait install although I still don't get it.
How do I get into my Baldur's Gate 2 directory,where is it?
Sorry I've tried I'm just not very good with computers. Thanks in advance

make sure you've got large and small portraits (with L and S at the end of the filenames)

make sure they're bitmaps (.bmp files)

(if you't got these off a portraits site the site owner should have sorted this for you)

go to you BGII folder

create a new folder called 'Portraits'

copy the bitmaps into the folder

start a game, create a character and when you're at the portraits bit clik the 'Custom' button and you should see your portraits

oh - and your BG folder will probably be under 'Program Files'

C:\Program Files\BG2-SoA

You don't have to create a new folder called Portraits. The folder is already there.
