Where is that [Bleep]in' Valygar

Just a quick question, I went to Valygars home in Umar hills and he wasn't there, do I have to finish any quests before he shows up? I already talked to Tolgerias and my PC is a Mage so getting into that Planar Sphere is a big priority... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Anyway, Anyone have any idea where the heck he is?

You might encounter him, and some hostile ranger friends, going up the path towards Valgyar's house (which, by the way, is the cabin in the North West corner of the map, not the South West corner which is the plain-ranger cabin). Hopefully you didn't kill him without noticing.

Is his quest in your quest diary ?

Also check around the cabin, there should be some rangers there as Hank said.

Also try saveing and reloading near the cabin.

ADD] I didn't read your post properly. --;; Um... He should be there, if my memory serves correctly.

Do you have the usual patches/fixpack? Do you have any mods that might indirectly (fools around with the Valygar files) or directly (fools around with the placement of Valygar) cause your problem?

If you're really at a loss, then try CLUA'ing him in.

Did you go all the way into the cabin? He is in the back room, not the front area.

If you have one of the more recent versions of Unfinished Business installed, Valygar will NOT be in his cabin unless you've thoroughly investigated his whereabouts. Check your Journal entries on the subject, and try to follow through on their suggestions.

Ah thanks, I have the UB installed... sigh.. I really don't like it, only makes things more complicated... like that blasted Boo quest. Anyone find it ridiculous that Minsc gets Strenght 9 when he loses him?

nah , i got boo back straight away, so it didnt bother me..plus i enjoyed the dialogue...the valygar thing happened to me, but i left the house rested, and he was there in the room....maybe he was out taking a walk...
