Depends on what class you are, each race has its Ups and its Downs, Humans are pretty much the default kinda thing, but they can't dual class on creation.

gnomes and dwarves have the best saving throws. elves look kewl (and have the most important stat bonus humans can dual class

Elven mages look cool i rekon...Never really bother with gnomes halflings or dwarfs as they look stupid!

I'd say the best race is indeed a gnome or dwarf because of the humongous saving throw bonus.

I think it depends on the character you will play. But for me: Elves, Half-Elves, Gnomes.
