This should be fun, in a terrible, sadistic sort of way. What a LAME class. You trade plate armor and all melee weapons except club and staff for summoned animals that cant even hit the goblins in the first dungeon.
I figure strength girdle + blackblood and gnasher + oils of speed + Item upgrade mod + vailors helm should be enough to bludgeon my way through, with Protection from Magic scrolls for Jonny. Also boots of speed + Tuigan bow + quiver of plenty. I'll just skip the liches and beholder lair, I dont even remember what they drop. I died in the circus tent and knew I was in for a rough time. Then I got Held and pounded to death by the hobgoblins in the sewer under the Copper Coronet. Thats when I went to bed. I've never played through TOB either, that should be fun. |

Isnt there a upgrade for the animals? But it is very overpowered

It was hard at first until I did the Trademeet quests. That got me the Shield of Harmony and cash for Aegers Hide and the Pitchwife club. I leveled up very rapidly after that. The only trouble I had after that was Tolgerias (kept mazing me) and the liches that popped up in the Umar Hills dungeon. When I got my whirlwinds I tore up the dragons, then took out the mindflayers in the sewer with Tansherons bow + boots of speed + potion of magic shielding (automatic saves). The rest of the chapter was a breeze.
Now I'm level 24 and in Spellhold right before you fight Jonny. |
