A couple of weeks ago I posted a topic when I discovered, after leaving the Underdark, that I had lost the pieces of both the silver sword and the Equalizer. My assumption was that I had received some quest rewards that kicked items out of my inventory, but I wasn't sure.
Now, I finally found the last component of Crom Faeyr, and the Girdle of Frost Giant Stregth is gone! I remember putting that on someone, so it wasn't an inventory item. What's going on? Is this a known glitch? I don't like to run back to merchants and my inventory is frequently at maximum capacity, but that shouldn't affect it. I've had to use the resurrection wand a couple of times. Do you lose items when you die? I'm pretty careful about not leaving things on the ground. It just seems like too much of a coincidence that five item parts have disappeared. Any ideas?

Is it at all possible that you put it on someone and they left the party?

I just have to ask, mostly cuz I didn't look into your last post. But is your game fully patched? A new member, gatorpit, seems to be having similar issues (if a bit more extreme)
here's his thread.

I gave Aerie the boot before entering the Underdark, and have had the same five people in my party since then.
I noticed gatorpit's email after I posted my own. His problem seems worse. Mine is just annoying. But this is the third item that I can't see or use now. I'm not sure if I have the latest patch. I definitely have A patch. What is the most current patch for SOA? I also noticed that gatorpit mentioned a bag of holding possibly being the problem. I've used my bag of holding for all those useless items- bloody hands, keys, pieces of swords. Not the belt, though. Is the bag of holding unreliable?

Actually they devour it, and I think it's only items with magical charges. Though without the fixpack I think they devour other magic items as well.
Confirmed, the fixpack does stop Nishruu's and Hakaeshars (sp?) from devouring non-charged magical items (I think that includes parts of items as well) Apparently the official patch only stopped them from devouring your mage/sorcs familiars. Nishruu's, huh?
Add another item to my list of things to kill. Dace De'Briago- you had me confused for a second with your link. At first it talked about spoilers. Wait! I didn't spoil, did I? Then I saw about the multiple posting. That other post wasn't exactly the same! Then I read about being polite. WHAT DID I DO??? Then I saw the FAQ. Duh. I'm too paranoid. Thanks for the link. I'm downloading now. Thanks for the help- you guys rock!
