Items BG1 -> BG2

There is (or was) a website that listed all the different equipment you could keep from BG1- there were actually a couple of generic magical items, IIRC, beyond the Helm of Balduran/Claw that could come over. Anyone have that link?


EDIT: I found the information in a Bioware forums post. I figured that I'd leave this up here though, since people seem to keep stating the info incorrectly around here (note that most of the items have names- the longsword +2 for example, has one- but they aren't included here):

1) Golden Pantaloons

2) Game will pick one: Koveras's Ring of Protection, Claw of Kazgaroth, Horn of Kazgaroth, or Helm of Balduran (the others replace the Helm)

3) Game will pick one: Bala's Axe, Dagger +2, Halberd +2, Longsword +2, Kiel's Morningstar, Sling +3, Staff Mace +2, The Root of the Problem, or War Hammer +2 (these replace the Sword of Chaos)

4) Game will pick one: Chain Mail +3, Leather +2, Studded Leather of Missile Attraction +2, or Plate Mail +1 (these replace Mail of the Dead)

IMHO, Koveras's ring isn't much worth it. The Claw or Horn might be, but I'd say the cursed factor outweighs the benefits. For the weapons, Bala's Axe could be quite nice, and most of the other weapons are good if you've got a PC specializing in something (Halberd or Long swords for example); otherwise, go with the Sword of Chaos for Minsk. Finally, chaimail +3 or platemail +1 are better than Mail of the Dead (the chain if whatever character you want to have it can only use chain, the plate otherwise)

I didnt know that...On going over to BG2 ill keep that in mind.
NOTE Minsc is spelled with a 'C' not a 'K'.
