Trouble with Bodhi (spoilers)

I am working for Bodhi and, on a whim, decided that I would let Vulova (the merchant she wants killed) live and told him so. For various reasons, I ended up killing him anyway (though my journal still says that I let him live). I left the cloak and dagger at the sceneb but Bodhi has nothing to say to me. She doesn't attack. She just ignores me.

Fully patched, dashed and with UB installed.

It sounds like a bug caused by your not killing him yet killing him eventually. How exactly did you let him live and how did you get to him eventually later (like when)? As the journal indicates, the game probably didn't recognize that you've killed him. However (when I went evil, I've always killed him and so here is what I know), you won't get any exp if you didn't kill him, but Bohdi should still offer you the last job.

One of the dialogue options lets you tell him to go into hiding for a while (which I did), but the pig-headed fool yelled at his guards to kill me as he was running out the door. Unfortunately for him, Korgan runs faster than he used to...

Apparently, I've found a way to snooker yourself so that you can't work for the thieves and yet Bodhi won't give you any more assignments. I think that I am effectively stuck in the game (I know that I can go back to an old save, but I'd still like to solve this problem if I can).

There's gotta be a global variable to fix it, but I'm not sure which off the top of my head. Ideas anyone?

I looked into a game where I sided with Bodhi & killed the guy, & my best guess is that you need to play around with the BODHIJOB Global Variable. Mine is set to 5 after completing all her tasks, so my first guess would be to increment yours by 1, then go back & check with Bodhi to see if she thinks you've completed the task for her.

Hope that helps - if not, let us know & maybe someone will know for sure or I can always try to manipulate a game to that point with the CLUAConsole & see exactly what variable changes. [img]smile.gif[/img]
