Bioware NPC's get a bit old, after a while, so...I am thinking of roleplaying a self-created party through SoA and ToB, and am looking for some interesting characters to form a group.

(Mostly, I just love to see the roleplaying creativity on this forum, so I may not use the ideas, but would love to read them...)

If you have a creative idea for a party member, please submit. A competent party member, but not powergamed. Some background, maybe a personality sketch, suggested role, or anything else you can think of.

For example,
-------------
Caelatheral, Male Elven Archer, Chaotic Good.

Attributes
Strength:13
Dexterity:19
Constitution:15
Intelligence:13
Wisdom:14
Charisma:14

(Eventual) Proficiencies:
Crossbow: 5
Short Sword: 1
Single Weapon Style: 1

Caelatheral, was born to elves but orphaned when his family was murdered by brigands. He survived somehow, and was found and raised by a nomadic group of hunter merchants. During his upbringing, he learned to apply his uncanny elvish dexterity to the use of the crossbow, which was favoured by his foster family, rather than the bow as a more traditionally elvish weapon.
His nature is typically elven, although a bit more quiet and broody, and he is given to the occasional unrefined jest, unusual for elves but typical of nomadic merchants.

Role: Scout and Marksman
-------------

A powerful character, but not unrealistic, I think. Slightly cliched, but crossbow and shortsword are somewhat nonstandard/nontraditional for an elf.

Ashar Caldaar, Human Blade, Neutral Good

Attributes
Strength:19
Dexterity:17
Constitution:16
Intelligence:15
Wisdom:7
Charisma:18

Proficiencies:
Longsword +
Dart +
Warhammer +
Two Weapon Style +++

Ashar Caldaar is a Calimshan warrior poet of extraordinary strength and beauty. She spend her youth in taverns learning to fight and sing with inspiration and determination, as well as lift a nice and juicy wallet of the occational wealthy fob. Ashar will fight along others who are determined to battle evil as long as they are willing to look the other way while she is picking someone pockets.

Role: Frontline spellcaster

Notes: Ashar is toned down a bit actually as I usually roll for quite some time, but regardless she is very powerful and should only be available in the late game. She can be picked up in Ust Natha, but the problem is that she is also in drow form looking for the eggs under an alias. Can the characters locate her and convince her that they are after the same goal? The story behind is that she was in Spellhold when Irenicus took over. She was able to pick a wardstone of his pockets and escape through the portal.

Suggested equipment: Ashars Melodic Chain +3, Helm of the Warrior Poet (a special helmet only usuable by Calimshan warrior poets, increases bard song powers slightly, give a +1 to dex and prevents criticals), Wrath +2 (longsword, 20% chance of fear vs. save), Fury +2 (warhammer, +5 electrical damage) and some loose stuff.

Derille of Beregost, lawful neutral human male necromancer

Strength: 7
Dexterity: 12
Constitution: 9
Intelligence: 18
Wisdom: 17
Charisma 16

Derille has always been a weak boy, always picked upon by his friends. But what he lacked in physical strength, he made up with brainpower. Always has his motivation to learn and study been high, and he could not have chosen a better road for eploring the vast world of knowledge than the profession of a mage. His obsession for death has brought him many problems with many people, because necromancers are always looked upon badly. Through his wisdom, Derille knew this to be unjust, and so he has always stood up to the bad ideas concerning necromancy. Even under the greatest of opressions, he stubbornly continued his studies with great discipline and this has led him to believe he has a strong duty finding out everything there is to know about necromancy.

role: archmage

ADD: Equipment: his most extraordinary brains

------------
A fine standoff to the general assumption that every mage needs some kind of high physical stat to live through it all. Although he was always been picked upon and shunned for being a necromancer, he has a high charisma because he just is a goodlooking and charming guy.

What I am currently playing is:

Neo,Half-Elf Ranger/Cleric (Multi-Class) 15/15.

He has profisincies in Flail,Warhammer and Grandmastery in Clubs.

He is one heck of a Tank. When using Energy Blades (ToB HLA) or dual wielding DoE and FoA with Ironskins,Hardiness (ToB HLA),Death Ward,Blade Barrier... all other buffs this is pretty unstopabble tank.

The man clearly stated: not powergamed, but still some people can't keep themselves from stating how kick-ass their character is and how unbelievable he is...

I do gotta say I like your Necromancer, JrKASperov. But I have a thing for that sort of character. I'll have to give this some thought and will hopefully submit something soon.
