Where is the best place to buy spells in shadows of amn?

The woman at the back of the adventure mart, to the left of the wyvern (hiding behind a bookshelf). Then after you've finished Chapter 4/5, Ribald has all the top level spells in his 'special' wares.

I believe there is also a spell merchant in the NE of the promenade standing by a stall (it's flagged on your map) - he sells a rather handy scroll case although I don't think his spell selection is as good.

-There is a thief in the Bridge District at night who sells some stuff, check it out.

Damn, I already knew those places but if I remember correctly, none of them had/have the spider summoning scroll (best summoning spell early in the game) and I need that scroll. Well, I don't NEED it but I would like it.

Hmm...I've definitely picked it up somewhere so it's around as loot.

I believe if you go to the graveyard district and through the lower dungeons (find the entrance on the right hand corner of the map) you'll come across a large dome shaped object (you'll have to fight through spiders and a few ghasts if memory serves). Go inside and do the quest that is offered - i believe as a reward that you get a spider figuirine which does a similar job.

I think it's on the floor in the drow priestess room. In a container of some kind.

Huh, I dont ever remember doing a quest for that spider woman in the lower tombs of the graveyard distict, she just attacks me on sight
