I am planning to get Kelsey later, as the download is pretty big.

Any more suggestions on good balanced Mods? Preferably ones that are relatively bug-free too.

For what reason have you installed Solaufein? Haven't you said more than once that it's an illogically unbalanced mod? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

The Oversight mod is pretty good, mainly "correcting" the weird alignments of a lot of NPC's and monsters. Also contains an improved version of Sendai that's supposed to fit right in with the improved versions of the other four bhaalspawns, though I can't comment on that component since I haven't reached Sendai yet. More info here.

An NPC mod that is apparently beginning to get pretty popular is Chloe, who is female Kensai with "godly speed". More info here. It looks pretty interesting, I think I'll try it out myself once my Cleric beats ToB.

Oversight mod is highly recommended, and Sendai is really tough. Took me a straight forty minute fight to beat her and her minions with my solo mage (no reloads thank god!), but it was a fantastic battle - very challenging and fun. Her AI is particularly good, casting images and protecting them from divination for example; basically doing what *we* all love to do with a high-level mage.

Chloe is certainly interesting but too temperamental for my tastes. She has no qualms about leaving you if you haven't treated her really well which can get annoying if you're just about to face improved johnno and she bottles out. Also if you're planning on romancing her, you need to keep Imoen in the party for it to progress past a certain point.

You might also want to get Tashia as well as Kelsey. The download time's worth it, IMO, as both have a strong roleplaying component (especially when romanced).

And maybe you should give the Unfinished Business Mod a try too although I haven't played that yet. Just an idea though [img]smile.gif[/img]

I got the Solaufein Mod because of two reasons.

1) I intend to complete the romance someday
2) It's under 1MB

Is Oversight stable?

Besides Kelsey, I'm not looking for other NPC Mods.

maybe you should try the "Improved Battles" mod too, except the arcane avenger kit (fighter with immunity to timestop at lvl 17, yay -_- )... it turns some of the "blah, ridiculous..."-battles like master brain, the sewer party, wraith sarevok, chromatic demon, drizzt, house jae'llat, shade lord etc. into quite challenging ones... while improved firkraag, who copied a trick or two from pontifex, and pooky's parents are downright insane...

the rogue-rebalancing mod is pretty nice too, especially the improved shadow thieves guild... very difficult now, as it features some nasty suprises...

Yes, do Unfinished Business. I just installed Rogue Rebalancing and have not encountered any bugs. Also, try redemption. I really thought it added a nice twist to the end of ToB.
