Many weird things have been happening when i was playing BG2 soa this time around.

--I got the ranger stronghold while i am a sorceror
--Viconia trys to romance with me even though my PC is a female.
--When i shapeshift to werewolf with cernd, he creates an item called
Shapeshifts Werewolf. Click here to see the stats of the paw
--When i joined up with bodhi and was anhhilating the shadow theives, i went
outside teh shadow theives building and rested. Right when i woke up, a
greater fire elemental showed up from nowhere..

btw i have the ease of use mod installed and nothing else.

if you installed all of ease of use, everything you noted is in components of ease of use.

to wit:

multiple strongholds and shapeshifter fix. I'm not entirely sure what the Viconia thing would be--but it might be the romance fix pack, etc.

definitely not sure about the fire elemental though...

yes, it is supposed to make a fix.

the readme and/or the website tells you about the specific changes but here's as far as I understand it.

Wes implemented things that he thought were incorrectly or not implemented. He changed regeneration rates, thac0 boosts, etc.

When you equip the paw, you shapechange into wereform. When you remove it, you come out of wereform. I'm kind of fuzzy on the details since I have not played a shapeshifter with that particular fix, but when all else fails, read the readme--it'll probably have more information than any of us could realistically give you.

First bit of advice--ALWAYS read the readme before installing ANY mod. It might install something you don't want.

This is, infact, one of the main reasons why many mods have online readmes.

Weimer mods also usually allow the option to select which features of the mod to install, so if there's something you don't like/want (eg all romances)... you can still have all the other great features (eg arrow/potion stacking ).
