if it is the demons you're having problems with, you must have +3 or better weapons to hit them. and of course, use haste, bless, chant, etc.

As Dron_Cah said, Haste and Chant are your friends. But one spell, in particular, should not be overlooked.
Free Action. Know thy Enemy. Know thy enemies' Tactics. Then, know thy buffing spells. +3 enchanted weapons (or better) are still absolutely vital. (Most Demons cannot be harmed by weapons of any enchantment less than +3.)

Those Demons actually have very, VERY low HP. If you can get in 2-3 good hits, they're down for the count. Bolt of Glory comes to mind as well. Free Action is vital if you want smooth sailing. Else use summons to distract them and take the Death Gaze. Skeleton Warriors EAT these Demons, especially when they are hasted.

Thanks guys, but i figured out how to do so like 15mins after i wrote this, so sorry, but to start you need hit and run tactics and then two parties from two angles it really screws him up, also with arie it really helps cuz she just casted a hell uva lot a spells but in the end i got it done, but my problem now is WHERE IS THE ENGINE ROOM? theres the room with the golem but you have no actions with him, and if you go down there are cowled wizards waiting, and that screws you over. so any help for that point would be really handy.
