bg2 strat guide or manual?

just bought the game. came with cd only, no manual. is there a strat guide or manual out there that i can order so i don't continue to stumble around in the dark?

There is a strategy guide out there if you want it, but I wouldn't recommend buying it simply because it's not necessarily up to date and I'm sure people here are as capable, if not more so, of helping you.

If you go into C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\ (or wherever BG2 is installed), there should be a file called: Baldur's Gate 2 manual.pdf

Just refer to that or print it, and there's your manual.

Hmmm thats strange what do you mean by you only bought the CD's, the manual should come with it unless there is a special pack somewhere. You might wanna go back to the store unless you ment to buy it with out the cd, which you still should probably go back to the store ether way and ask if there is a manual you can buy.

WELCOME TO IRONWORKS!!!

The game should have come with the CD, a quick reference guild, a map of the areas in Shadows of Amn, and the manual. And don't bother printing it out, it's pretty long. If you have trouble, either do a search on these forums or just ask questions. We should be able to answer just about all of them.

If you bought the BG Collection, the manual should be on the disk but there wouldn't be a printed version (that's why it's cheap).

Yeah, the manual is notoriously inaccurate. I would recommend going to SixOfSpades' page if you want to learn the basics of the game (Spoiler free!).

My game didn't come with a map.

Now I feel cheated. My game also didn't come with a manual, but I don't think you really need it. Other people on this fourm own a copy so just ask them your questions.

Dont worry man mine came with no manual either but if u look there may be a disc called manual. I had one. It has patches on it too [img]smile.gif[/img]
