ok heres the problem i wanna get new portrait for my character and new class is there any way i can keep my magical items?

Yes and no.
Yes if you change your character`s portratit via Customize but you cannot have your equipment with new character.

You could use shadowkeeper to hack around with your character. Google should turn it up quickly.

There's a non-Shadowkeeper trick to keep your BG1 items in SoA.
Just hit the Spacebar directly at the start of the game (this is when the game has loaded and the screen is still black before Irenicus appears and "tests" you). Now press "H" to unhide the character menu and go to the inventory. Drop all your equipment to the floor. You can pick it up after the cutscene.
It's important that you pause the game before it strips you off your items. You can check that in the message-line where ti says "Party has lost x gold" after that has happened. So be sure that you hit PAUSE fast enough and everything should work out fine.

When you pause the game, the interface is automatically unhidden.

A part of Ease of Use mod disables that block in the script, so your items stay with you.

An alternative would be altering the game script with NearInfinity yourself
