I don't wanna break the experience cap or anything. I'd like to know i anyone knows a good place to camp, where when I wake up I am assaulted by a large amount of experience point bearing beings. I you can help that'd be great. I wanna max out my dudes before I go into Dulags tower, and enter the theives caverns.

- Go to the lighthouse area and enter the cavern, each time you try to rest there you get a flesh golem (2000 xp)

The flesh golem is a good choice, I've seen a lot of people mention it. I found the whyren cave in cloakwood to be good also. You get 1400 exp. and you can sell the heads for good cash.

Huh.....never found anyone who'd actually buy the wyvern heads from me, I'll have to look into that. But I personally harbor a strong dislike for wyverns, origniating in the fact that they Waylay me EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to go through the Cloakwood, and I pretty much have to run away entirely if I don't want to lose a party member. I wish they'd made it so the wyverns don't have you in a pincer, or they'd left the spiders out, or something, because that Waylay is a pain in the ASS. The only one worse than that is when I was Waylaid by a Basilisk once (along with a few roadkill monsters, just to annoy me).

I believe the temple next to Beregost buys those Wyvern Heads from you...

If you talk to the guy who is hunting whyrens, he tells you that the mayor of Beregost has a bounty out for a head. The mayor and the head of the temple are the same guy. He pays 2000 for the one head but will buy no more. You can go talk to officer Vai at the JJ. When you sell her the bandit scalps, she will also buy the whyren heads for 500 apiece. You must do this BEFORE she says that she is going back to BG. If all else fails, the store in Nashkel will buy 'em. I like them because they don't wiegh as much as Anhkeg heads. A strong fighter can carry 3 or 4 himself. The three in Durlags are extra tough; but, they are pretty stupid.

If you go in and get them to chase you, they come up right to the doorway and stay there. They are to big to get through. You just stand back a little and plug away with whatever you feel like. I am talking about the south entrance.

Joe. That area of the coast on the western seaboard is quite good. Especially if you haven't been there before...

There's one of the books in there (Tome of Wisdom I think) around the Siren's cavern. It is good for XP. Peldvale (sic) is good too, especially if you haven't assaulted the bandit camp.

Though I take it you have.

I wouldn't mind, but every time I restart BG I find a new area that I've never explored before.

So the Nashkel Store buys Wyvern heads? Huh. Never knew that, thanks. You gotta wonder what he wants them for, though. Soup? Or maybe he's a taxidermist on the side....

Not that I'm gonna carry any Wyvern heads clear to the other end of the map, since I'm perfectly flush as far as cash is concerned. I'll carry one Wyvern head and one Ankheg head, and we all know what for, right? Good.

Officer Vai will also buy Winter Wolf pelts from you for the full price.

I found that the best way to deal with Officer Vai (meaning, not leaving you stuck with tons of Bandit Scalps,) is to avoid the Jovial Juggler until AFTER you've cleared the Bandit Camp. Then you waltz in with your backpacks bulging with Scalps, she congratulates you for clearing the Nashkel Mines, then buys all the scalps off you, then congratulates you for clearing out the bandits.

About wyverns - my game crashes whenever I kill one. Does anyone have an idea why or what I can do about it? As you might imagine, travelling in the Cloadwood is very annoying now.
And I agree, the lighthouse place is very good.
