I have 14 lvl druid, but ... (spoiler)

Well, Jaheira here in party is 14/14 lvl Fighter/Druid but I can't make the challenge in the druids groove - why ?
One of the game hints says that if druid wants to make challlege he must be at least lvl 14.

Those stronghold quests are limited to main characters.

IIRC, that's not completely true. You can do the quest with Jaheira, which I do recall doing, you just don't get it as a stronghold. The same goes for the Planar Sphere and Nalia's Keep quests; you can do them, just that you don't get a stronghold as part of your reward.

The druid stronghold quest comes after you challenege at lvl 14. You can do each quest to get the stronghold, but you wont recieve it unless you are that class. after you recieve the stronghold, THEN you get the stronghold quests. For the druid grove, you just have to beat another quest (beating the druid leader) to get it, after you do the actual getting-stronghold quest (freeing the grove). understand? may be kinda confusing..

I had wondered about that too since I used Jaheira at 11th level and had no problem getting the duel accepted. It is true however you do not get the druid grove as a strong hold or any of the later druid strong hold quests if Jaheira wins (though some can be had in other ways). One more fact, I watched the Druid Cernd fight that battle and I watched jaheira. Against Cernd the evil druidess just fights; Against Jaheira she transfroms into a panther and Jaheira becomes cat food.

Hehehe, i just used summon insects, cause serious wounds and then cast the fire sword spell...she didn't get a chance to turn into a panther...teehee...

Get a good old fashioned cat and dog fight going. Make Jaheira turn into a wolf.

I think it's funny. I put Cernd in my party one time just to do the duel. I changed him into his werewolf form and went right after her, and got smoked. Then I did it without adding him (letting him accept the challenge), and he made it look easy. Why can't he be that good when he is in my party?
