Where's Lothander?

Serious problem. I did all I was suposed to do, I have the scroll; but, the guy's a no-show. It's been days. I've done a bunch of cool side quests in the mean time; and after each one, I come back to the Blade and Stars and he's not there. I've looked in the other taverns and nothing. I need help/spoiler, whatever. I even finished the chapter, went to Candlekeep, and I'm still sick. I've a couple of backup saves; so, I didn't loose anything.

I just installed TOSC; and, I can't wait to go up there and spend all this cash. I practicaly cleaned out SS. The wizzard's tower was really stupid. Did anyone notice this?

I just ran up the stairs. I didn't get touched. Pretty easy for such a reward. They should have been in your way.

Do I have to do Durlag's Tower to get the new quests with TOSC? It says you don't; but, I read that you needed something from DT to fight the deamon. Thanks.

Concerning Durlags Tower
If you will not finish Durlags Tower there will be no demon to fight. You have to bring some dagger (Soul Taker) from DT for dwarf in Ulgoths Beard inn. Once you will be back the dagger will be stolen from you and you have to chase them eventually. The demon will be at the very end of this dagger

Thanks. I went to a previous save and for some strange reason, he never aproached me. I did what I had to in BG city, finished CK, and am in DT. Maybee I'll see him later.

If someone is bored with that quest it is possible to kill Marek and Lohander first time you meet them and then you will not have any problems with poison.

I discovered that if you go see him before you finished what he asks of you, he will not reapear and you will die. Sometimes you talk to people more than once (press them), to get more information. Unless they walk off into the sunset, this is usually an indication that you should press them. Do not do this with Lothander. It is a life and death situation that is not up for discussion. Do what he says and move on. There are some of the best items in the game related to this side quest. The items are still there if you avoid it though. I like one of the previous post's idea. When the two of them threaten you, kill 'em. I hate all these punks threatening me everywhere I go anyway. "Feel the power of the dark side" My alighnment is changing as we speak. ha ha ha.
