No stronghold?

Im a generic archer and I just did the D'arnise hold quest but i cant get the keep. Nalia says im not the fighter type...what is wrong, i have heard of this bug before.

Did you install the ''All strongholds'' componend of EoU?

Because I encounterd a bug a few days ago with my Prot. Sorc. not getting the D'Arnise Hold because I also wasn't that a fighter type

Haven't been able to fix the bug because I do not know where to begin... maybe it is the same bug that you now encounter... I have the following mods installed:

EoU
Tactics
Sola
Valen
Kelsey
Imp. Items

Did you encounter other bugs related to strongholds (like not getting them

)?

I'm not sure how it can be fixed... you could try to Un-install one mod (say like sola.) and then try it... if it works, then you know it was the sola. mod, try this with every mod untill you have found the mod that has a conflict with another mod thereby causing this bug...

Thats the only thing I can think of..

nah...there are other strongholds...i did this one before and it was a dissapointment really!

If your an archer, thats a ranger class, so you would get the stronghold in the Umar Hills.

Actually, SecretMaster, Tyrion said he was a Generic Archer, which makes Fighters able to take the Archer kit as well as Rangers. So, he is indeed a Fighter (kit), but Nalia won't give him the Keep.

Tyrion, did you try Reloading to just before that dialogue and running through it again? It might just have been a one-time bug, Reloading has been known to fix the odd thing here & there.

Barring that, somebody might want to look at the code for that conversation and determine the precise criteria that Nalia uses to determine whether or not someone was a "Fighter type."
